What motivated you to join Cyjax?
Naturally, the Cyber Space is hugely exciting and to be able to move into the Threat Intelligence aspect was super interesting to me. The other large reason for joining was the incredible customers that CYJAX has. Coming in as the Senior Account Manager and having the opportunity to work with these Enterprise Organisations was an opportunity I couldn’t miss.
Can you describe your role in one sentence?
Facilitating Customer’s Needs and helping to curate continued evolving value across the length of the partnership (which for many of our customers is 10+ years).
What does a typical workday look like for you?
Typically, my day would involve working closely with our hugely talented Operations Team to make sure the Intelligence we are providing adheres to the Business Proposition: Concise, Actionable Insight. It would then be meetings with our customers, working with the Product team to help enhance our offering and then look for other opportunities for CYJAX to increase value within each customer.
What’s the most exciting project you’ve worked on at CYJAX so far?
We have a large public sector contract and having the opportunity to influence not only the way CYJAX is producing our Intel but also starting to plan and map out how this relationship could evolve and grow exponentially – hugely exciting and watch this space!
If you could swap roles with someone in the company for a day, who would it be and why?
Rob Campbell (Head of Product and Development) - some moustache on the guy
How would you describe the culture at CYJAX?
Inclusive, Innovative and an environment which challenges you.
What’s your favourite thing about working here?
Being on the cutting edge of real-world Cyber Intelligence
What’s a memorable moment you’ve had at CYJAX?
Attending InfoSec this year after being at the company for just 2 weeks. Overwhelming the positive reaction and engagement CYJAX had.
If CYJAX was a TV show, which one would it be and why?
Mind Hunter – trying to get in the heads of criminals
What’s one skill you’ve picked up (work-related or not) since joining CYJAX?
My understanding of the darkweb has increased no end – not saying that I understand what goes on within most of it but having a greater idea of how and why it's used.
What’s a random fun fact about you?
Not sure how fun this is now I’m an adult, but I am double-jointed and can bend my little finger all the way back.
What’s your go-to productivity hack?
Trying to utilise AI to help with as many aspects of my work that it can. Life saver writing up meeting notes and enables me to be better in the meeting not worrying about missing something.
What’s the last book you read? Would you recommend it?
More of an audiobook man. I was listening to Heroes by Stephen Fry which is good, though you really must concentrate as lots of the characters sound the same.
If you could master any skill instantly, what would it be?
Singing – guilty pleasure is watching The Voice
