Can you describe your role in one sentence?
Coming up with and building the future of CYJAX
What does a typical workday look like for you?
I work from home 3 days a week, so after taking the kids to nursery I’ll start working by catching up with the dev team, prioritising their work in the week. I’m also helping the sales team with demo’s and POCs so I often have one or two client calls in the day. The space around that will be spent going into more detail with questions from the team, or designing future projects, in powerpoint, miro, or in meetings.
What’s the most exciting project you’ve worked on at CYJAX so far?
Our stealer investigator: we’re collecting malware logs and parsing them to support law enforcement identify and de-anonymise criminals. It’s amazing to get feedback that the work the development and analyst teams have delivered is directly contributing to arrests and saving money for the government
If you could swap roles with someone in the company for a day, who would it be and why?
I’d like to swap roles with Andrew to deep dive into criminal forums and chat channels

What’s your favourite thing about working here?
The latitude and breadth of my role, being a small team means there’s more to do but you get to do more and can see the impact you’re making
What’s your go-to productivity hack?
Having an extra coffee and turning my music up helps me write content I’d otherwise struggle to start
What’s the last book you read? Would you recommend it?
Dungeon Crawler Carl – I loved it, it’ excellent if you’re looking for a very engaging light read.
If you could master any skill instantly, what would it be?
To entertain my kids it would be juggling. For work I’d like to master design to improve my wireframes and slides
